The UK’s largest mortgage lender, Halifax, was awarded the accolade of Best Overall Mortgage Lender for the 13th time at the  Your Mortgage Awards 2014 – 2015. These annual awards recognise the achievements of those financial services providers which have offered the best mortgages and related products, accompanied by the highest level of customer service.

This year marked the 25th anniversary of these highly-regarded awards, and to mark the occassion the Editor’s Special Award was given out to those mortgage lenders that have collected the most awards during that period. The top five were:

Halifax

NatWest

BM Solutions

Nationwide

and National Australia Group (comprising Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank).
