77,000 new estate agent and letting agent jobs have been created in the last 12 months.
Estate agent numbers hit all time high

According to the Office for National Statistics, nearly one in four jobs created int he past year was in the property sector.

There are currently 100,000 more people employed in estate agency 9including lettings) and property development than there were at the peak of the pre-credit crisis housing boom. In the construction industry, bu contrast, there are 300,000 fewer jobs.

The National Association of Estate Agents has reported a month-on-month increase in its membership this year.
